A cold-chain product that has spent four hours above 8°C is no longer the medicine printed on the label — and nothing about the box will tell you that. The check has to happen at the door, before you sign.
Every cold-chain carton we dispatch carries a temperature indicator strip. Read it before you open anything. If the indicator shows a breach, refuse the carton and call us — do not shelve it and do not attempt to judge the product by appearance.
If any one of the four fails, refuse the carton. A replacement dispatch costs hours; a compromised vaccine costs a patient their protection.
Move accepted stock into your refrigerator within fifteen minutes of signing. Cartons left on the counter during a busy afternoon are the single most common way a cold chain that survived 200km of highway finally breaks.
